Coziest Cardigan for Fall

Coming to you this rainy morning (if you live in WA) is a look that features a few of my go-to pieces that have been worn constantly this season. I cannot relate to you more than I do right now in the sense of if you have a long cardigan such as the one I'm wearing now, you get how COZY and warm/blanket-like (that's a word right?) this cardi is!!

Brass Beauty

I can't believe this past month we've celebrated 2 years of Topshop Tulip. It's surreal to think that Ciara and I have come this far through learning, growing, creating, and getting to know our sweet readers!

Stripes for Fall

One of my favorite trends of the summer was off-the-shoulder tops. I love how feminine and sophisticated they look, so I was sad when summer came to an end. However, when I saw this top, I knew I had to have it because it combines the summer trend I've been loving but it wearable for fall!
The stripes on the sweater are perfect for autumn while also being very flattering. They are also very easy to style, and it looks good with almost anything! My jeans are super comfortable, which adds to the cozy feel of fall. I also wore these lace-up flats to match the femininity of the top. Finally, I added the touch of brown tones with the bag to pull the outfit together, creating one of my go-to looks for fall.

Blazer from above

I've never been thrifting but was absolutely thrilled once I started. Hearing so many great things about thrift stores and what great pieces you can find from them got me excited to discover pieces that I didn't know I needed until I laid eyes on them.

Jump(suit)ing for joy

Fall has officially arrived and it couldn't be more welcomed. This season is always so refreshing after summer, bringing along with it new trends, Fashion Month, and more! While stumbling through one of my favorite shopping sites, Nordstrom (of course), I found a jumpsuit that completely captivates Fall in all of its entirety. Now, let's take a closer look!

From day to night, this is a versatile jumpsuit that can be dressed up or down depending on occasion. For a casual look, pair it with a denim jacket, sneakers, and a fanny pack. To get a sleeker night out look, go for a leather jacket, pointy stilettos, and a clutch of your choice. For a wearable school look, I paired this jumpsuit with a jean jacket and chunky platform sandals.

Surprisingly enough, I've never owned a piece of clothing with vertical stripes until now! If you're wanting to appear taller and/or leaner, vertical stripes are your new mate. With stripes going up and down, they give the allusion that you're taller than you actually are (score!), along with a pair of heels making you look and feel like you're on top of the world...literally! Tip: You can never go wrong with vertical stripes.

With love,

Zara's Summer Blouse

Heat is the #1 setback when it comes to buying clothes during the summer. Choosing between looking stylish and feeling miserable vs. feeling lighter than air but looking less than fabulous isn't something I'm willing to compromise. The blouse (and look) being featured today is ideal for strolling around the city, getting coffee or lunch with friends, and any other occasion where you may need to be slightly more dressed up (bottoms will vary)!

May Favorites

It seems like ages since I've been on the blog and I've missed it so much! I wanted to share with you some of my go-to's that I've been using the past four weeks. Stay tuned to find out what I've been loving!

Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray
This spray is so refreshing and smells like a bouquet of roses! It makes a great setting spray after you've completed your makeup. Keep this close by because once you've got it, you won't let it go!

COCO Mademoiselle Chanel Eau De Toilette
Scent is something that people will always remember and this by far is my favorite. The packaging is beautiful and you only need a few spritz in the morning or night, depending on you're occasion.

I've gone through my fair share of mascaras, high end and drugstore, and I was so pleased when I tried this one out. I have shorter lashes but this mascara lengthens and thickens while separating my lashes, plus it's waterproof!

Vintage Nordstrom Sweatshirt
I'm not a huge fan of sweatshirts WITH hoods because of the fabric bunching up around the neck, but when I saw this one, I fell in love with it immediately. Vintage sweatshirts in general are really cool, but the baby blue color and size makes it stand out even more!

I'm not a jewelry fanatic, but when receiving this for my birthday, it was the perfect bracelet. The silver twisted band is simple and dainty, when paired with the black studs at the end it creates a more striking look.

I love reading, and I love fashion. This book combines meaningful insight about the behind-the-scenes former/current editors of Vogue and stories that will touch your heart like they did mine as well as moments beautifully captured by the camera.

With love,
